Nurlan Zeynalov is 16 years old and has been a tailor for more than a year.
“I work in 2 places, from 9 am to 9 pm”.
Nurlan learned tailoring from his cousin in the district.
“İ went to school, and in my free time I walked, so my cousin said - instead of walking around, learn art. He taught me tailoring, I worked for 3 months, and after 3 months I started working separately and started earning money”.
After graduating from School Nurlan came to live and to work in Baku. He rented a small place for his job and started earning money.
“I wanted to continue my work in Baku because my parents lived in Baku and I was in the region, it was difficult to come and go, I could not stay apart from them. My mother is also a tailor, but I rented another place and worked alone, because my mother interferes my work. Clients are afraid that I will not be able to do the job properly because of my age, but after a while they see that they are wrong. Until this age, no one was dissatisfied with my work. I prefer to work, sew clothes and earn money instead of walking with a friend. My biggest dream is to have a big space to work and have employees, teach them tailoring.
