How COVID-19 restrictions hit SMEs' export in Georgia

In January-June 2020 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 1 503.4 million, 16.0 percent lower year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 71.7 percent and amounted to USD 1 078.1 million, 3.0 percent lower to the January-June 2019.
In January-June 2020 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 80.5 percent. The top partners were China (USD 197.9 million), Russia (USD 167.3 million), and Bulgaria (USD 161.6 million).
